Spent some time last night deciding what clothing to wear. The forcast included a chance for a wintry mix of Snow, freezing drizzle, and rain. But this was not to start until around 9am. My commute starts around 5:40 and takes about an hour. So the weather would not be a factor for the commute in, the commute home was my concern. Temp are suppose to get into the 40s during the mid part of the day. But this could create some treacherous conditions for the ride back to the truck. I will have to wait and see how the weather turns out.
As for the bike, I did manage to get the chain lubed, which it desperately needed. I had been putting it off since late November. Each time I rode, I would be reminded that I needed to take care of the chain. This morning's ride was nice and quite. The next thing that needs to be done is a good scrub down, but I will have to wait until after the 15th to look at doing that. Time just does not seem to be prevelant right now.
