Yesterday morning started off in the upper 40's. This would actually be a welcome surprise in Feb/March, but this is May. Heading down Wornall at just under 30mph caused a chill. Once I rolled on the the IC trail, I managed to get the blood flowing and did not even notice the temps again. After crossing over Metcalf I choose to treat myself again to a doughnut. Fresh hot doughnuts... what a great way to complete the morning commute. Made it to the office, with plenty of time to spare.
Riding back to the truck in the evening, I managed to keep ahead of another cyclist until taking the detour after Null. I continued to chase him till he stopped at 103rd, at which he tured off at one of the rest areas. I continued on to the truck with out anything to write about.
